Structure before syntax.
I build the parts of an application most people never see: the services, the data models, and the logic that has to stay correct under load.
Back-end focused developer and Computer Programming graduate, based in North York, Toronto.
My core strength is Java with Spring Boot, building APIs and server-side systems that are predictable and maintainable. I work in Python for automation and data work, and in JavaScript and React when a project needs a front end to go with it. On the data side I am comfortable across both SQL and NoSQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
I also work extensively with AI tooling, and I am at my most effective directing and reviewing work rather than writing every line myself: scoping the problem, setting the architecture, then overseeing delivery and holding the quality bar. Years of managing teams in a high-volume operational role taught me how to run that kind of oversight well.
